You will have the autonomy to make decisions that will drive the future focus for the centre, both in terms of environment, education and Kaiako.
As an integral part of the community centre organisation, you will be responsible for creating solid community relationships, compliance management, mentoring and driving exceptional standards of teaching.
An inspirational leader with an innate ability to develop and lead a team to deliver best practice childcare services
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain and grow occupancy levels
Demonstrated leadership experience
A passion for quality practice standards and commitment to the principles of Te Whāriki
Understanding of the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
